Well what is this M.U.G.E.N.? It sounds cool but what exactly is it? Well this short summary of M.U.G.E.N. that will help you understand just that. It will even give you helpful links and were to download addons.

Introduction

M.U.G.E.N. is a free 2D sidescrolling fighting game, imitating the style of games like Street Fighter and Mortal Combat. The reason it's so awesome, popular, and pwn is because you can add new Characters easily, by just downloading them from a M.U.G.E.N. warehouse or website and adding them to a folder.

The original makers were Elecbyte games, but there have been so many new addons like new Characters, stages, and skins created by other people it's hard to say they were the only ones behind it.

It is ultimately customizable, and very easy to use...although it does ocassionaly freeze but that is usually very rare.

How can I get M.U.G.E.N.?

Getting the actual MUGEN software is pretty easy. Just download it here.

Setting it up can be a little tricky if you don't have some common computer knowledge which I'm sure most peeps who view this website have.

I could go into detail in how to set it up, but theres so many tutorials on how to do it already I'll be lazy and provide a good link instead. :O
