Spyro 3: Year of the Dragon [9/10]

Graphics: 7/10

Story: 10/10

Overall Gameplay: 10/10

Music: 10/10

The third installment of the Spyro series, and sadly the last game actually made by Insomniac Games. After this title, they sold the rights of Spyro to other companies.

This game by far is the best Spyro game, I remember having so much fun playing it when I was little and in fact I still have fun playing it today. It had good graphics for the time, the storyline was beyond hilarious with classic allusions here and there. There was even a take off of "Jack and the Beanstock" that was in one level. The whole game was made in a very comical but fun manner.

The music of the game was fantastic, although I beleive it was done by someone else other than Stewart Copeland, they kept the same style he used for the first Spyro and really made it stand out throughout the game.

There were also fun minigames thrown into the mix this time, like the two player "Yeti Boxing". A true classic. The game was also very challenging at times, like the boss known as "Spike" who shot lazers at you. This game is a perfect example of old-school fun, and truley is awesome.

P.S. Spyro gets a skateboard ^__^
