Spyro was hatched as a purple dragon, a rare and powerful type of dragon that was only born every decade in the Year of the Dragon. He had many special powers other dragons did not and he utilized these powers to save the world many times over, in different ways and places.

Spyro in my mind will represent my childhood, and the awesome fun I had with his games.
